How to Manifest the Life You Want with the Aligned Journal + Planner

Do you find that no matter how hard you try, you can’t seem to manifest what you want in life?

Do you need clarity on what manifestation even means?

You’ve come to the right place.

Some people find the idea of manifestation a little “taboo”. But in reality, most high-performing humans use some form of manifestation in their everyday lives. Manifestation is not only possible, it works – if done correctly.

It can be tricky at first, but once you implement the right strategy, you can participate in the creation of your dream life. Whether it’s a new home, a career you love, or better relationships – learning how to manifest can help you get there.

For our first blog post, we’re going over three powerful manifestation techniques from our very own Aligned Planner + Journal that you can use to create the life you truly want.

What is manifestation and why should I try it?

Manifestation is the process of visualization followed by intentional action and belief, that the desired outcome will become a physical reality. Essentially, manifestation means that you have the ability to bring anything you desire into your life, by intensely focusing on it.

Sounds simple enough, right?

Yes and no.

In order for you to manifest the life you want, your vibration frequencies need to be in tune with your desires. In other words, you can’t expect money to fall from the sky – you must put in the work.

For example, if you’re looking to start a successful business, manifest your ideal relationship or feel incredible in your own skin, visualize how you will feel, what you are thinking, what you will do and what it looks like once you are already in the position that you desire. This will motivate you to take aligned action and ultimately, manifest your goals into your life.

As Stephen Covey wrote in his widely popular book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, “Begin with the end in mind.” - An important part of the manifestation practice!

If you’re a highly ambitious person but haven’t yet tried aligned manifestation, it just might be what you need to achieve those big goals.

Why does writing help with manifestation?

One of the most effective manifestation techniques is to write about your goals and dreams as if they’ve already happened. In fact, studies have shown that people who write down their goals in elaborate detail are 1.2 to 1.4 times more likely to successfully achieve them.

Writing down your goals not only helps you to achieve clarity, but you are also storing the information so that it can be accessed and reviewed at any time. This is a regular practice with the Aligned Planner + Journal.

Another interesting level of writing is encoding – basically, when the brain sees something written down, it will help in the decision-making process based on importance. So when you write out detailed goals and actionable steps, your brain will naturally remember why something is important and how to get it done.

When writing to manifest something, the idea is to write clearly and to expand with as many details as possible.

For example, if you are trying to lose weight, you might write something like “I am so grateful to have a healthy body. I have gone down four dress sizes and feel confident when I go out dancing with my friends.”

Writing to your future self will help to raise your vibration and increase your emotional connection to the goals you want to achieve.

With the Aligned Planner + Journal you can do this in your gratitude prompts, or, when you create your weekly affirmations.

How can I start manifesting the life I want and desire?

The first step to manifest the life you want is to get really clear on what you want. This might sound obvious – but defining exactly what it is that you want can be challenging!

Instead of writing, “I want to write a book this year,” write something like “I want to self-publish my poetry collection by the end of September”.  The more specific you can get at defining your goals, the easier it will be to take action and track progress.

Some manifestation coaches suggest that asking the Universe and letting go of limiting beliefs is all it takes. While these things are important, there’s a lot more work that goes into manifesting the life you desire.

Let’s dive into the three pillars of The Aligned Approach that you will find in the Aligned Journal + Journal.

1. Adopt an accountability mindset.

Your mind is the most powerful tool you have. Once you understand that you alone are responsible for your life and happiness, you are unstoppable.

Manifesting is all about being accountable for your thoughts and for the actions you take.

Let’s talk about the “Be, Do, Have” triangle method. At the beginning of each week, re-align yourself by writing down what you want to have, what you are doing to attract the thing you want, and who you are being to manifest it into your life. Embody this version of yourself throughout the week. This is how you manifest – by already being.

2. Track your habits to increase productivity.

The process of habit tracking has gained momentum in the last few years, and for an obvious reason – it’s a game-changer. Highly productive people track their daily habits in order to set themselves up for the best chance of success.

For example, if your goal is to read ten pages at the start and end of every day, place the book on top of your cell phone or alarm clock so it’s the first thing you touch in the morning. By doing this, you are creating an environment to achieve your goal as easily as possible.

A tangible item, like the book in our example, serves as an automatic reminder of what needs to be done. This is how habits are formed.

Take it a step further by using a habit tracker – you can download this one for free.

3. Practice gratitude and self-love.

Research has shown that expressing gratitude each day helps people to not only feel happier but better able to handle everyday stressors.

But is gratitude really a manifestation technique?

It absolutely is.

Gratitude is helpful for manifesting because it creates an abundance mindset within us. You know, the “glass is always half full” type of mindset.

One of the best parts about a gratitude practice is that it doesn’t have to take long. Start by writing out five things that you are grateful for every morning. Whereas goal-setting is more specific, gratitude writing can be as simple as “I am grateful for another day”.

As you practice gratitude, you will simultaneously begin a self-love journey. After all, you are shifting your mindset, raising your vibration, and learning how to welcome abundance into your life.

The aligned approach is a powerful manifestation technique because it requires you to self-reflect and sometimes, to dig pretty deep within yourself.  The combination of mindset, goal-setting, and reflection will put you in a better position to manifest the life you want.

As Maya Angelou wrote, “ask for what you want and be prepared to go get it.”

So get to work – you’ve got some dreams to manifest.
